Today on Yahoo! News' The Lookout, Zachary Roth posted an article about the McDonald's photo hoax that caused a stir over the weekend. The photograph shows a McDonald's "official statement" taped to a restaurant window stating that they were going to charge African-American customers $1.50 more than others after a string of robberies in the area.

News of the photograph even made "Seriously McDonald's" a trending topic on Twitter this past weekend. The photograph resulted in McDonald's having to post a couple Tweets of their own in order to respond to the hoax. To prove this was just a hoax, some Twitter users pointed out that the toll-free number listed on the "official statement" actually belonged to Kentucky Fried Chicken.
