Emperor Penguin Found On New Zealand Beach

Found On: www.photovolcanica.com
According to an article posted on the Herald Sun's website, a young emperor penguin was discovered on a beach in New Zealand. The penguin, who is believed to be about 10 months old, got lost in Antarctica and ended up on Peka Peka Beach in New Zealand. The penguin, nicknamed "Happy Feet," had a lot of sand in his stomach. Zoo vets have been working to get the sand out of his stomach to make him feel better. Be sure to click on the link below to read the rest of the article. Also, thanks to my friend Melissa over in New Zealand for bringing this story to my attention.
