Liz Goodwin of Yahoo! News' The Lookout recently posted an article and a video of the bravery of one Mexican teacher, Martha Rivera. The teacher, in her town of Monterrey, kept her kindergartners safe and calm in the middle of a drug shoot-out near the school. She had her students lay down on the floor of the classroom, and sang to them while gunshots echoed in the background. The picture on the left is of Rivera with Monterrey Mayor Fernando Larrazabal Bretón.
