Yahoo! News recently posted an article online about a man in Chicago that happened to come across $17,021 in cash on the sidewalk. The man, Robert Adams, was going to get money from a Chase ATM when he noticed the cash in a clear plastic bag. Instead of taking the money and keeping it to himself, the man brought it inside the bank to turn in, believing it to be money meant for the ATM. The bank claimed it wasn't theirs so Adams called the police. It was discovered that the money was supposed to be transported by an armored truck to a different bank location, and the money was eventually returned to the armored truck company.
