Apple Unveils New iPad Air and iPad Mini

Today marked another announcement from Apple. They unveiled their newest collection of iPads. The updated iPad is now the iPad Air and has a couple of the new updates that we saw with the release of the iPhone 5S. These updates include the A7 and M7 chips. The new version will be released on November 1, 2013, and will start at $499.

The newer version of the iPad Mini is the iPad Mini with Retina Display. This saw a boost in display resolution and will also include the new A7 processor. This device is set to release sometime later in November and will start at $399, whereas the original iPad Mini started at $329.

Both of these new devices will come in only space gray or silver. There is no gold option available. Also worth noting, neither of these devices will contain the new Touch ID sensor that is found on the iPhone 5S.
