New Book Deal for J.K. Rowling

Today on Yahoo! News I came across an article by Hillel Italie of the Associated Press. The article is focused on the announcement today that J.K. Rowling has a new novel coming out which is to be published by Little, Brown. According to the article, the novel is for adults and no other information such as title or release date were announced. There also seems to be some question as to the popularity and attention this book will receive because the transition from children's author to an adult author has not always been easy. It seems to me, however, that since most children grew up reading Rowling's famed Harry Potter series, they are the adults now likely to follow her into adult authorship.
