Audi Representative Responds to Lawsuit From Eminem

Credit: Audi
Found On: www.cartype.com
Today on Yahoo! Music's blog, That's Really Week, Billy Johnson, Jr., posted an article about a lawsuit that Eminem has filed against Audi. According to Johnson, Eminem's publishing company, Eight Mile Style LLC, has filed suit against the car company in a German court. The lawsuit has to do with a sample of Eminem's popular song, "Lose Yourself," which can be heard in what appears to be a new Audi commercial.

A representative for Audi here in the United States has claimed that the video is not a commercial, and that it wasn't run here in America. The video, which is included with Johnson's article, clearly resembles a commercial, more specifically, Chrysler's commercial starring Eminem that ran during the 2011 Super Bowl. The Chrysler commercial is also included in the article, so you can compare them yourself. Be sure to click on the link below to read the entire article and to watch the two commercials.
