A couple days ago on Yahoo! TV, Dave Nemetz posted an article about some of the
Jersey Shore cast members' nicknames. According to the article, Nicole Polizzi's nickname, "Snooki," came from a male character in the movie
Save the Last Dance. Also revealed through the article are the origins of Mike Sorrentino's ("The Situation") and Jenni Farley's ("J-Woww") nicknames.
